Our health care assistants are trained to carry out new patient health checks, over 75 health checks and also free health and cholesterol checks. They assist GPs in their minor surgery clinics and perform basic checks to assist the practice nurses. They also monitor patients who have been diagnosed and are on treatment for hypertension and give advice on smoking cessation.
